Dr. Qiquan Qiao is an associate professor and graduate coordinator in Electrical Engineering at South Dakota State University (SDSU). Current research focuses on polymer photovoltaics, dye-sensitized solar cells, Perovskite solar cells and lithium ion batteries. He has published more than 100 peer reviewed papers in leading journals including Energy and Environmental Science, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, Nanoscale, and Nano Energy, etc. He has received 2014 F O Butler Award for Excellence in Research at SDSU, 2010 US NSF CAREER, and 2009 Bergmann Memorial Award from the US-Israel Bi-national Science Foundation.

Yuzeng Chen, Ph.D. Prof.

Dr. Yuzeng Chen achieved his doctoral degree in engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University, China, in 2008. Afterwards, he spent two years as a post-doc in Göttingen University, Germany. In 2011, he was appointed as an associated professor in School of Materials Science at Northwestern Polytechnical University, China, and was promoted as a full professor in 2014. His research interests include thermodynamics and kinetics of materials, nanocrystalline metals, advanced steels, and behaviors of hydrogen in metals. Dr. Chen published more than 50 papers in leading journals of his research field, such as Acta Materialia, Scripta Materialia, and Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A etc.

Fan Jiang, Ph.D.

Dr. Fan Jiang is an associate professor in Mechanical Engineering at Guangzhou University, research fellow in numerical simulation at Nanyang Technological University (2013-2014). Current research focuses on computational fluid dynamics (CFD), environmental materials, innovative design. He has published more than 50 papers in leading journals including Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, Chemical Engineering & Technology, Sensor Letter, etc. He has received Science and Technology Progress Award of Guangdong Province in 2015, Teaching achievement award of Guangdong Province in 2014, and more than twenty national invention patents.

Mahmood M. Shokrieh, Ph.D.

Mahmood M. Shokrieh is a professor in School of Mechanical Engineering of Iran University of Science and Technology. He is also the head of Composites Research Laboratory. He is the founder and the chairman of Iran Composites Institute. His fields of interest are composite materials, mechanical characterization, fatigue of composites, residual stresses and nano-composites. He has published more than 250 journal papers and 240 conference papers in English and Persian languages. He has registered 24 patents in different files of composites. He is the founder and chairman Iran Composites Scientific Association. He is also the founder of Iran Composites Industrial Association and he was the first chairman of this association for three years. He has been the keynote speaker of different international conferences in Iran and overseas. He is the reviewer of many international journals.

Xiao Peng, Ph.D. Prof.

Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Metal Research

Dr. Xiao Peng is a professor of Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was a vice head of the State Key Laboratory for Corrosion and Protection and is a vice head of department for corrosion and protection, Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He obtained M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in the field of corrosion and protection of metals at the Institute of Corrosion and Protection of Metals, Chinese Academy of Sciences ( the Institute was merged in 1999 to form a new Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences). He was a post-doctorate researcher at Materials Department in University of California at Santa Barbara from 1998 to 1999 and a visiting scientist at chemistry department of Western Kentucky University form 1999 to 2001. Dr. Peng has 25 year experiences both in studies of the high temperature corrosion mechanism of metallic materials and in the development of corrosion-resistant coatings, particularly those with nano- and ultrafine-grained structures. He holds 10 invention patents, has published over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles, 3 book chapters and 13 invited presentations for international conferences. .

Wenjin Yue, Ph.D.

Anhui Polytechnic University

Dr. Wenjin Yue is an associated professor in Anhui Polytechnic University. She obtained her doctor degree in Material Physics and Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2012. Current research is polymer–inorganic semiconductor hybrid solar cells, focusing on the synthesis of nanomaterials, the fabrication of hybrid solar cells and charge transport mechanism for solar cell. She published more than 50 peer reviewed papers including Journal of Materials Chemistry, Solar Energy Materials & Solar Cells, Solar Energy, etc. She obtains the research funding including National Natural Science Foundation of China, International Cooperation Project of Anhui Province and holds 4 national invention patents.

Yujun Song, Ph.D.

University of Science & Technology Beijing

Dr. Yujun Song is currently a full Professor in Applied Physics Department of University of Science and Technology Beijing, Dean of Applied Physsics Department. He worked at Center for Advanced Microstructures and Devices at Louisiana State University, Applied Research Center at Old Dominion University and Jefferson Lab in Virginia of USA for 7 years, then joined in Department of Materials Science of Beihang University and worked in University of Toronto for one year as a visiting professor. His areas are focusing in surface and interface controlled fabrication of functional materials for new energy & industrial catalysis, biomedical engineering and information technology. He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed papers in SCI journals (e.g. Sci. Rep., Chem. Mater., Nanoscale, Small), 18 issued patents, and invited to write 2 book chapters and edit one book on microfluidics. He was elected as Youngth Committee Member of CSNMT and editorial board of several SCI journals (e.g., Sci Rep).

Haizheng Tao, Ph.D.

Wuhan University of Technology

Dr. Haizheng Tao is currently a full professor in State Key Laboratory of Silicate Materials for Architectures (Wuhan University of Techonology). After obtaining his PhD degree from Wuhan University of Techonology in 2004, he entered into the same university and became a professor in 2008. As a visiting scholar, he worked in the University of Arizona in U.S.A for 1 year (from 2007.11 to 2008.11). His research interests include multi-functional energy-saving glazing, new functional glass, and thermodynamics and kinetics of glass-forming liquid. He has published over 120 peer-reviewed papers including Optics Express, Optics Letters, Appllied Physics Letters, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Journal of the American Chemical Society, and 9 issued patents. In2013, he was awarded the Youth Science and Technology Award by the Chinese Ceramic Society.
